Anne had two very different career paths before joining First Round. She became an elementary teacher after graduating from the University of Delaware and taught Special Education in Delaware and Pennsylvania, eventually obtaining her Masters’ Degree in Special Education. After five years of teaching, she decided to explore other career opportunities, transitioning into a sales and marketing role for a large homebuilder. While there, she created marketing campaign emails, planned sales and company events, maintained website content, and managed all social media accounts.
