My journey to recruiting is rooted in a love of problem-solving and people. Growing up as the child of immigrants, I learned the value of hard work and resilience. This perspective shaped my optimism and drive to contribute to a world full of innovation and progress. I’m fascinated by the entrepreneurial spirit—what fuels visionaries to embrace risk, defy convention, and create transformative change—and I channel this curiosity into supporting founders and teams in their missions.
After beginning my studies in public policy, believing that politics was the best way to help others, I quickly discovered that the true forces driving societal change are entrepreneurs and impactful businesses—those that fundamentally reshape and improve how the world operates. So I made the bold decision to invest my college funds into a coding bootcamp.
While I knew I wasn’t destined to become an engineer, my curiosity about technology and startups led me to want to understand them from the ground up. This shift inspired my career in recruitment, where I bring an empathetic, strategic approach to finding and supporting exceptional talent. I love pushing others to see just how much we’re capable of together—because it’s usually a lot more than we think.
Prior to joining First Round, I served as the sole recruiter at Pragma Platform, a Series B gaming company, where I built a customer success team from scratch. Before that, I scaled global teams at Abnormal Security, including the company’s first University recruiting program and expansion into India.
At First Round, I feel privileged to work with builders and innovators from the earliest stages of their journeys. Helping teams achieve their goals is deeply fulfilling and aligns with my belief that progress is driven by those bold enough to challenge the status quo. By finding top talent to support the changemakers of tomorrow, I hope to play a small part in shaping a brighter, more dynamic future.
