As an Executive Assistant with a writing, editing, and teaching background, I partner with venture capital leaders and their teams to help leverage their time more efficiently. I have an extensive track record as an EA, and I’ve always liked that in this role I can work in any industry, with the best of the best. Before coming to First Round, I supported executives at a global asset management firm, a biotech startup and in venture capital. I’m excited to start this next chapter by working directly with First Round partner Bill Trenchard as his EA.
The majority of my time is spent ensuring the brilliant team and wider community at First Round are connecting in a timely manner, and I take great satisfaction in working to “set the table.” Anything from managing schedules, prioritizing tasks, and streamlining processes to maximize productivity all fall under my purview — giving our partners back more time to do high-impact work with our founders and community.
I grew up in Colorado, and have lived, worked, and studied in British Columbia, Hong Kong, Spain, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, reading (history, fiction, memoir – my Goodreads lists are extensive!), and spending time with my family and friends.
