I always say, the little things in life count most and bringing people together, empathizing with all, and cultivating a vulnerable and sincere environment is what makes me happy. Serving others and listening to their stories comes naturally to me. My role as the First Round Office Coordinator in NYC involves everything from welcoming visitors, managing guests, and helping with events in and around the office to assisting the partnership and keeping the office fully functional with supplies and food (including our Hump Day Special Snack series!). I witness how small differences have a strong positive ripple effect on the lives of the people I work with and the people our office hosts.
Prior to First Round, I was the assistant to the president and ventures team at Broadway Video, the parent company for entertainment shows like SNL and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. My growth skyrocketed in this environment, which uniquely combined the startup and entertainment industries. It was the perfect place to begin my career and feed my curiosity.
Having hailed from Zurich, Switzerland and graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, I’ve already been exposed to diverse sets of people. At UVA I was a member and eventually captain of the Polo Club Team and the Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Polo Magazine. I have since joined as a Board Member of the Harriman Cup, which helps organize UVA and Yale’s annual polo match fundraising event. I also spend my free time volunteering for The New York Junior League as part of the Community Committee ‘Passport to the World.’ We mentor elementary school age children through lessons and traditions from around the world. I’m also passionate about personality types and have decided to become MBTI certified by the end of the year. If I’m not working on that, you’ll probably find me at SoulCycle or playing squash.
